Kadlec), which is widely used in graduate university programs around the world, and Small-Scale Constructed Wetland Wastewater Treatment Systems (with R. Knight), which has been used by UNESCO as a training manual for environmental scientists and engineers. He is considered a world expert in wetland treatment design and works closely with university research programs in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Denmark and China.
